How it Works

HEX is parsed into R, G, B integers. RGB→HSL uses the standard min/max lightness formula. RGB→CMYK calculates the key (K) as min(1-R/255, 1-G/255, 1-B/255) then derives C, M, Y from the remaining values. The palette rotates the hue channel in 45° steps while preserving saturation and lightness.
